Freckles - often appear on the forehead, bridge of the nose and cheeks, and occasionally on the neck, shoulders, back of hands etc. The development of lesions is related to Sun exposure.

Age spots - related pigment spots, also called seborrheic keratosis . It refers to a tallow brown pigment plaque that appears on the skin of the elderly. It is a benign epidermal hyperplastic tumor, which usually appears on the face, forehead, back , neck chest, etc..,and sometimes may also appearon the upper limbs and other parts. Most of them start to grow after age of 35 and they are more common in the elderly.

Chloasma – melasma , also called liver spot, is yellowish-brown pigmentation on the face. Multi-symmetrical butterfly shape distributed on the face. It’s most common in women. The high level of estrogen in the blood is the main reason. It’s incidence is related to pregnancy, long-term oral contraceptives, and menstrual disorders.
